THE ONGOING COVID-19 (CORONAVIRUS) SITUATION:

Sponsored outbound international travel from the United States, including study abroad and fellowships, is suspended for Yale College students for the duration of the fall 2020 and spring 2021 terms. This decision is final and will not change even if circumstances should change in the destination country.

Summer Experience Award (formerly known as the Domestic Summer Award)
Enhancements have been made to the former DSA. Review the changes on the Office of Career Strategy website and check out the Frequently Asked Questions. The application for the Summer Experience Award (SEA) is in Yale Career Link and the deadline to apply is May 1, 2021. Important updates include:

  • Eligible students may use the SEA for the choice for an eligible experience (underfunded internship, research experience or arts apprenticeship) in the U.S. or abroad.
  • If the experience is in the U.S., the award will be $4,000. If the experience is outside the U.S., the award will be $6,000.
  • The SEA is the former DSA, therefore students who have previously used their DSA are not eligible.
  • Inquiries can be sent to sea@yale.edu

November Recess Hours. The Office of Career Strategy will close Wednesday, November 25 through Friday, November 27 and will reopen Monday, November 30 at 8:30am.

Virtual Advising Available - Until further notice, all career advising appointments will be held by phone or video (Zoom or Skype). Please request appointments through Yale Career Link and select one of the remote location options.

Yale Summer Session

Summer’s over. Start thinking about summer! In Yale Summer Session, focus on difficult classes, try out a new subject, or ease your course load in future semesters. With over 200 courses in New Haven, Online, and Abroad from a range of disciplinary fields, every Yale College student can find a course that meets their needs and helps them succeed.
