Sponsored outbound international travel from the United States, including study abroad and fellowships, is suspended for Yale College students for the duration of the spring 2021 term. This decision is final and will not change even if circumstances should change in the destination country. Starting with summer 2021, sponsored travel for Yale College students will be governed by the Yale College Travel Policy, but should public health concerns require, further restrictions may be imposed at any time.

Yale students have a free subscription to the Daily Chatter, a great resource for keeping up with global news presented from a non-partisan perspective.

Office of Career Strategy

Summer 2021: Connect with Alums (By Location)
The Office of Career Strategy is here to help you navigate your summer and beyond! One way you can make the most of the summer months is to investigate your professional interests via networking with Yale alumni.  Through these conversations, you can learn about the career paths of Yale alumni, learn more about an industry or job function of interest, gain insight and advice for your professional development, or see how they made their transition from academia to the non-academic realm.
Regardless of what you are doing over the next few months, you can complete our Summer 2021: Connect with Alums (By Location) survey in Yale Career Link to tell us where you will be physically, or interested in remotely, in order to connect with alums in that location. We’ll share your name and email with the local or nearest Yale Club so you can be added to any communications list and potentially connect for career exploration conversations. There is an option to opt-out.

Class of 2020 Class List & Summer 2020 Peer List Now Available: Search and contact thousands of recent Yale graduates and current Yale students who have volunteered to discuss their post-graduate roles and summer employment experiences! Prior Class Lists and Summer Peer Lists are also available. Search by major, employer name, city, state, country, and more.

Virtual Advising Available - Until further notice, all career advising appointments will be held by phone or video (Zoom or Skype). Please request appointments through Yale Career Link and select one of the remote location options.

Date: Visit the Calendar of Events for a full list of upcoming events. Log in to Yale Career Link, powered by Symplicity under Events/Employer Events to sign up. For easier access don’t forget to download the Symplicity App now called “Symplicity Jobs and Careers”!
